All of our cups and plates and cutlery in The Garden Bar are completely biodegradable. All bottles and cans are recycled.
The garden itself is a carefully tended beauty (thank you to our talented Gardener) with lot's of space for groups of any size. No booking required! Just turn up and pick a spot in the sun or under a canopy and enjoy uninterrupted views of the majestic Loch Fyne.

Our beloved 'Bertha' the West Beer bus is a full outdoor bar with West Beer on tap, local ales and an excellent selection of Whisky, Wine, Champagne.
All of our containers are biodegradable and the cutlery is bamboo.
The Garden Bar at The George Hotel is a dog friendly and family friendly space.
The George was voted most Pet Friendly Hotel in Scotland in 2020 and dogs are welcome throughout the hotel.
We have a lot of space for you to enjoy both on the lawn or under the canopies in the heated area. All areas have views on Loch Fyne.
Being right on the loch, opening times can sometimes be dependant on the weather but if there is some extreme west coast weather you can always find a cosy spot in the pub, cocktail bar or on our spacious hotel terrace overlooking Inveraray Main Street.
