Situated in the center of Inveraray, offering easy access to Loch Fyne and local attractions.

Our check in time is from 3:30pm and check out is by 11am.

We have live music every Friday and Saturday night from around 9pm in our cocktail bar. We also host live music events in our Garden Bar during the summer months.

We are dog friendly and all well behaved dogs are welcome throughout the hotel including the rooms and restaurant. There is a charge of £15 per stay to bring your dog, and an additional £5 per dog for more than 1 dog. We also have a dog menu available with meals and treats from Sir Woofchesters.

A small private car park is accessible via Church Square (by the jail), with ample surrounding public parking.

The restaurant has wheelchair access. Due to the historic nature of the building, we have no lifts, so unfortunately our rooms are not fully accessible.

Some of our rooms are suitable for families – extra beds/cots can be added for £15 each. Please contact us directly to request extra beds.

Yes, our restaurant is open all day, every day serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Last orders by 9pm.

The Garden Bar is our outdoor bar which is open from the beginning of April to the end of September. We have heated and covered areas however opening times can very occassionally be subject to weather conditions e.g. if there are heavy winds. If The Garden is closed due to weather conditions, you are welcome to enjoy a drink or food in the pub, restaurant, cocktail bar or terrace.

Yes, we can do gift vouchers for any amount. They can be used towards food, drinks and accommodation and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. We can send them out either by email or by post. Please contact us by phone or email for more details.

Deposits are refundable up to 96 hours prior to the booking date.

If cancelled within the 96 hour period, we will still refund if the room is resold.

If unsold then we reserve the right to take full payment for the first night of your stay

Rates are subject to change & we reserve the right to change your accommodation should we need to.  Except where special arrangements have been made with us, specific suite or room names or numbers are not provided to you prior to your arrival.  Update: You can now book the Library Suite or The Merchant's suite specifically.

Full payment is required at time of booking with a valid credit card is required.

We are very family friendly and have recently received a bronze award from International Kids Friendly Travel.

Our restaurant has a kids menu available, with complimentary veggies, and free Ella's Kitchen pouches for infants. We have colouring sheets and a toy box to keep the little ones entertained. We have baby changing facilities with nappies and wipes if you need them.

Cots or sofa beds can be arranged in certain rooms at a small additional charge.

If articles in the room are damaged including stains to any of the soft furnishings, carpets and rugs we reserve the right to charge the credit or debit card used to book your reservation with either the full cost of repairing/cleaning such item(s) or if this is not possible the replacement cost with new.

We are family friendly. Cots or sofa beds can be arranged in certain rooms at an additional charge.

Please note that The George bedrooms are non-smoking. Residents failing to adhere to this condition may incur a cleaning fee of £100. Smoking can be enjoyed on our heated terrace with live sports TV and views over town or at The Garden Bar.

We have fast wifi throughout the hotel, this is free to our guests.
