On Loch Fyne
Set on the banks of Loch Fyne, our spacious Garden Bar is the perfect spot to relax, day or night, all summer long.
All of our cups and plates and cutlery in The Garden Bar are completely biodegradable. All bottles and cans are recycled.
The garden itself is a carefully tended beauty (thank you to our talented Gardener) with lot's of space for groups of any size. No booking required! Just turn up and pick a spot in the sun or under a canopy and enjoy uninterrupted views of the majestic Loch Fyne.

'Bertha' the West Beer Bus
Our beloved 'Bertha' the West Beer bus is a full outdoor bar with West Beer on tap, local ales and an excellent selection of Whisky, Wine, Champagne.
All of our containers are biodegradable and the cutlery is bamboo.

Dog Friendly
The George was voted most Pet Friendly Hotel in Scotland in 2020 and dogs are welcome throughout the hotel.
Heated & Covered Seats
We have a lot of space for you to enjoy both on the lawn or under the canopies in the heated area. All areas have views on Loch Fyne.

No booking is required for The Garden Bar - we have lot's of space.
Parking is available - there are two small carparks very close to the entrance of The Garden Bar.
The Garden Bar is dog friendly.
All cups and food packaging in The Garden Bar is either compostable, biodegradable or recycled.
The Garden Bar can be found to the rear of The George Hotel, beside Loch Fyne. You can drive to the car park at Inveraray Pier for easy parking and access to The Garden Bar.
The Garden Bar is a family friendly space.
Opening times are weather dependent however IF we have to close due to the weather, you can always find a cosy spot in the pub, cocktail bar or terrace.
