Welcome to our new website and blog!

Updated: Sep 21, 2023

Welcome to our brand new website and blog. We have a new mailing list, blog, events page, whisky page, Inveraray page and so much more.

In our blog you can expect all the stories from Inveraray - old and new, updates on the latest event updates, offers from The George and as always, more plans for, #goodtimes.

You will find some blog pieces from people in Inveraray and The George, discussing old stories, new developments and everything in between. For our new website launch, we have already included writing from one of the archivists at Argyll Archives, Duncan Beaton on Neil Munro as well as a piece from Simon Smith of Whisky & Cynicism on the thinking behind the award winning, 400 strong whisky collection at The George. More fascinating articles are being written and will be ready to publish soon.

We are excited to be able to record these precious stories and contributions from the community and if you would like to offer a submission do get in touch!

In addition to our new blog, you can now also join The George Hotel mailing list by entering your email address in the box at the bottom of the page and be the first to hear about offers, events and new blog posts from Inveraray.

Take a look at our new events page for details of every event happening at The George including our weekly live music gigs and our summer festival programme. Be the first to know all the details by joining our mailing list!
