"Wonderful Hotel — Our Favorite on Our Trip"
We stayed at five hotels (two in London and three in Scotland) on our trip to the UK, and this was our favorite.
It is old-fashioned yet super comfortable. From checkin to checkout, all the staff members were amazing, including the bar and restaurant staff - shoutout to Sean who’s only been there 12 weeks but is wonderfully friendly and chatty and even dances well ;) .
The scallops at the restaurant were to die for! The free full Scottish breakfast included eggs, bacon, haggis, potato (like hashbrown), and blood sausage as well as drinks like juice, tea, cappuccinos, etc.
The beds were super comfortable, and I think I had a down comforter. The shampoo and conditioner actually nourished my hair and left it soft (very uncommon for hotel conditioners especially). When we stepped out of the shower, we noticed robes and slippers too.
The location was great also. You can walk to almost anywhere in Inveraray, and the Inveraray jail is right next door. I can’t say enough good things about this place.
